HOME GAME v INVERURIE LOCO WORKS FC
BREEDON HIGHLAND LEAGUE
SEAFIELD PARK, GRANTOWN-ON-SPEY, PH26 3HY
SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2024 – KO 2pm
If the footballing gods behave and Seafield Park is spared more frost, snow and rain we should be able to welcome players, management and the wonderful raucous fans of Inverurie Loco Works this Saturday. If this is your first time here or want to refresh the mind of what’s available in Grantown click here – enjoy the game and safe journeys.
As Eddie Gardner* would say, the last time we played Locos earlier in the season they went nap! Hopefully that’ll not be the case on Saturday and manager Rob has the Jags primed and ready to cause a wee bit of an upset.
Inverurie have had a bit of a mixed season. They started very slowly, changed managers by appointing former player Dean Donaldson the head coach, and after a period of evolvement have put together a good run of form especially after the turn of the year and prising some points off them will be a challenge – but we can but not be positive because as we always say ….you never know in football!!
Hopefully we’ll have a good contingent of Jags fans come along as this will be our last scheduled home game until the 9th March when we host Keith FC with the last of our 2pm Saturday kick offs.
*Eddie Gardner was the editor of our local paper in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and part of his remit was the local Welfare football reports.
OUR NEXT GAMES
Unless notification to the contrary our next two games are away from home – next Saturday 24th we are at Huntly and the following Saturday 3 March play Buckie Thistle – as they are currently playing their home games at Grant Park we await confirmation of the venue – we’ll let you know as soon as we are informed.
LOTTERY
As ever we conclude this week’s meanderings offering you a jackpot win of £4600 on our online fundraising lottery – click here if you want to play…
LOTTERY CH-CH-CHANGES
A resumé of the changes that will come into effect after the jackpot for the current game has been won as we will go straight into a new game – with the jackpot starting as usual at £1000 – so we would be delighted if you continue playing along……
- The game is to forecast 5 winning numbers chosen by the player from numbers 1 – 20 and the numbers chosen are then marked by a cross on the paper ticket entry form – or if playing online into the squares provided onscreen. Each five-number entry line costs £1.
- The Jackpot prize restarts from £1000 and is increased by £100 monthly on the first Sunday of every month which usually combines with the first draw. When the Jackpot prize reaches £5000 it will be capped. The game will then continue weekly as normal until the £5000 jackpot is won.
- Should no entry forecast all five winning numbers, then any player matching four numbers will be entered into a random draw for a single weekly prize of £100. If no player picks four of the correct numbers there will be no consolation pay out that week.
- A new paper ticket entry must be completed every week.
- All entries must be in by 7pm on the day of the draw – 6pm if you are playing online.
- All winners will be notified.
- If more than one player wins the Jackpot prize then the winning total will be equally divided between them.
- The draw is normally made every Sunday at 7pm.
And, as we always promote on the website every week, the fundraising lotto can also be played online – all details of how to play can be accessed clicking here LOTTO
