💙💛 MANAGER’S REACTION | BRECHIN CITY
A heartbreaking way to exit the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup, but a performance the Strathy Jags can be proud of.
🗣️ The manager’s thoughts:
“Very proud of the lads. We pushed a really good side all the way to penalties and took the lead twice. We were unfortunate not to go in at half-time with a bigger advantage, and looked really comfortable until Brechin scored their second.
From there, it turned into a real scrap and an end-to-end battle in awful conditions. Fair play to both teams.
Going out on penalties is a heartbreaking way to end our cup run, but every one of the lads can hold their heads high. They gave everything and delivered a performance we can all be proud of.
We’ve still got big things to achieve this season. We’ll take the belief and pride from this performance and use it to drive us forward.”

💙💛 To everyone who made the trip to Brechin, thank you. We know the conditions weren’t kind, and we truly appreciate every mile travelled, every voice raised and every bit of support shown to the lads. You stood with us through every twist and turn, and that support never goes unnoticed. We’re proud to have you behind us, and we look forward to seeing you all again as we push towards the big things still to come this season. 💙💛
